Steps to take if a guest causes damage in your space
Accidents happen, and there is always a risk that a guest could cause damage in your music space. Please take the precautions listed in the Preparing to Rent out Your Space article in order to minimize any risks, then follow the guidelines below in the event something unexpected occurs:
- - document the damage using photos and videos of the broken item(s)
- - contact the guest through the JamPads messaging system to discuss the damage and attempt to reach a mutual agreement on compensation
- - submit a Dispute using the JamPads resolution system
- - if a Security Deposit was configured for the listing, JamPads will charge the guest for the specified damage up to the full amount of the deposit
- - submit a claim with your insurance policy
