How to be a Host at JamPads?

It's free to sign up and it's easy to list your space as a Host. 

The listings available on JamPads Music Spaces are as diverse as the hosts who list them, so you can list your music spaces in professional studios, home studios, music venues, apartments, houses, office buildings, storage units, churches, schools, garages, music venues, art studios, warehouses, tree houses, boats on the water, or enchanted castles. On the JamPads Music Spaces platform, you can turn your unused or extra space into a business and become a Host. You can earn extra income by following the steps below:

1. Sign Up

Follow the link to Sign Up, where you can create a new login and password, or sign in using your Facebook or Google accounts.


2. Create a Listing for your Music Space

It’s free and easy to create a listing on JamPads Music Spaces, just click the "List Your Space" link. Describe your music space, what types of music-related activities are suitable there, how many musicians you can accommodate, house rules, and add photos or other details.  You can mention amenities like musical instruments or other gear that can be used during the music session.


3. Optional ability to Approve or Decline requests from potential Clients/Guests to reserve your Space

For each Listing, you can decide whether to let potential Clients/Guests book a reservation instantly from your Listing page ("Instant Booking"), or you can require their reservation request to be approved by you before allowing the reservation to be confirmed in the system ("Request to Book").  

The "Request to Book" approach provides you the opportunity to learn more about potential Clients/Guests and interview them privately via our secure messaging system before deciding whether or not to let them reserve a session at your space.  You can find out what type of music they play, how loud they will be, what instruments they will be using, or even require for them to send you proof of their identification.  You will have complete control over who rents your music space!

If you are using the "Request to Book" feature for a space's Listing and you don't respond to a reservation request within 24 hours, the request will automatically be declined.


4. Coordinate specific details about upcoming reservations with your Clients/Guests

You can chat with your Clients/Guests before the date of their reserved session to coordinate details about their music session by messaging them privately on our platform. 


5. Welcome your Clients/Guests

You can greet Clients/Guests in person, send them a door code, or provide other instructions for them to access the music space.


6. Get Paid

JamPads Music Spaces’s secure payment system means you never have to deal with money directly. Clients/Guests are charged before arrival, and you are paid automatically, minus the Host Fee. You can be paid via PayPal & Stripe (automatic deposit into your bank account).
